Walker Building
Walker Building

The historic Walker Building was built in 1929 and designed by Meyer & Holler Inc. of Los Angeles, who also designed Grauman’s Chinese Theatre. The property was built to house Walker’s Department Store, which remained a solid downtown Long Beach retailer for many decades.

The lofts on floors two through four were immaculately restored to their original Art Deco style featuring 14-foot ceilings, central heating and air-conditioning, gourmet kitchens including professional series Viking ranges with custom designed hood ventilation systems, European style bathrooms with large walk-in showers, and state-of-the-art features such as wiring for high-speed internet access and multiple pair phone lines. The penthouse units will have spectacular city views, private terraces, and a private access elevator.
