The Yard house is a block away from my Loftway office in the LA Live mega complex, even still I drove there because I was coming from a showing nearby.  It’s a large restaurant with many tables with a central round bar which I decided to sit at for lunch. The menu had many options of fish and meats with comfort food sides. I decided on fish and brown rice which was good and it didn’t take long to get although I was a little disappointed that the bartender didn’t bring or offer any bread, but all in all it was a good lunching experience. The bill was around $35 including my diet coke, which I don’t consider expensive, but for lunch is not inexpensive either. This place is more of a hangout to have a beer before Staples games, but is still a nice place to grab a quick bite.
Pros: Fast, plenty of seating, and brown rice.
Cons: Does not validate parking, no bread, and on the high end of pricing for a quick lunch.
